THOUGHT FOR INDUSTRIALISATION

SIMPLIFY MARINE OPERATIONS

- The mooring system decouples mooring lines installation from power cables installation.

- It uses lighter components than competitors thanks to the damping provided by polyamide hawsers.

SAVE STEEL

- Fatigue damage is the main design driver: EOLINK architecture distributes stress equally, so that steel thickness can be reduced.

- The hull geometry has been extensively optimized : it is only 66m long for 12MW.

UPSIZE TURBINES

- EOLINK enables longer and more flexible blades (thanks to much larger tower clearance).

- EOLINK structure is stiffer. This shifts structural frequencies so that 1P-3P rotor excitation is not an issue anymore.

CUT FINANCIAL COSTS

- EOLINK mitigates costs of risks : it only deploys proven subsytems (from wind and naval industries).

- The integrated design avoids multi-contracting issues between turbine supplier, foundation supplier, EPCI…
